About |
Flynn makes his roost high on a mountaintop overlooking a tiny village. He tries to stay out of sight of the populace below, knowing that there is a monster hunter among them. Legend says that Flynn has been in the area for hundreds of years, but in actuality, it was the griffon's father before him that caused the malcontent of the peoples below. Hunting sheep and dogs, Flynn's father ensured a legacy of anguish and anger that Flynn now has to contend with. The griffin refuses to leave his home, however. It's been in his family for generations, back in the days when griffins were more common. It's all that Flynn has ever known. He entertains the idea of leaving to find another of kind for companionship, but fear of the unknown holds him back. One day, he might venture away from his homeland, but that day seems far off - always a "someday" goal. The loneliness doesn't really bother Flynn most times, but one day he'd like to meet a female of his kind. He is of an age where romantic companionship appeals to him. For now, however, the griffin is quite happy sleeping in late and hunting on the other side of the mountain - away from the observations of the angry villagers. He's a noble, loyal, and humble beast characterized by his meaningful wisdom and relative silence. A firm believer in the idea that words should not be wasted. Every sentence should have purpose. |
